What is the First 7 Weeks?

The First 7 Weeks (F7W) programme at University of Limerick (UL) is designed to help new UL students settle in and successfully navigate their first semester on campus.

From a warm welcome and helping students find their way around UL, to getting them acquainted with their new course and helping them develop new skills, the First 7 Weeks initiative supports students to make the transition to UL as seamlessly as possible.

Don't Forget to Visit Us in the F7W Hub! The First 7 Weeks Hub is located in the Student Courtyard and is open to all new students Monday to Thursday 9:00-17:00 and Friday 9:00-14:00. Everyone is welcome. There is a water fountain and the use of a kettle and microwave so why not drop in take a seat on our comfy couch and say hello? Our First 7 Weeks hub staff are all current UL undergrad and post-grad students who remember what it was like to be in first year. They are there to help you with any issues you may have.
